	Whangaroa is one of New Zealand's premier game fishing destinations and is the undisputed Marlin capital of New Zealand. Located in an incredibly beautiful harbour, fishing here is a way of life. 	Behind the town is a walking track to the top of St Pauls peak where fabulous views looking down the harbour can be appreciated. The last 10 metres involves basic rock climbing and is not for the faint hearted.
